Pinot Noir Wines top our bargain selections of the week – October 31
I chilled it for about 1 hour and then decanted it and let it set for about an hour. Pinot Noir wines taste better slightly chilled. It took a while even in the glass to open up but once it did it was very good. It has flavors of cherries and good texture in the mouth. The Wine Enthusiast gives it a 91 and a $23 price point. I like but not as much as the Calera I reviewed last week, but the price point is better at $12.99 vs $19.99. I give it an 88 point rating. Continue reading →

Wine Enthusiast’s 2011 Top 100 Best Buy Wines under $15
The number one wine on the list is the Pacific Rim Riesling 2010. My local Costco, as of Monday, had a huge display showing the W.E. ranking and is selling it for $7.99. That is an amazing price if indeed the wine is that good. I have not tried it as yet, have you? The other wine I found locally are: Continue reading →

Cost Plus World Market answers BevMo with Red Wine Sale
Now of course, Cost Plus WM is not about to lose money on this wine sale. That is why you need to plan ahead and perhaps bring your pen or smart phone to snap photos of the wine, and then do some research on Wine-Searcher.com for comparing wine prices. This might require two visits but that is what it takes to find wine bargains.
