A Chardonnay and a Merlot top our bargain wine picks of the week

The tannins are just right to have with a nice juicy marinated, barbecued steak. Let this wine breathe for at least an hour and it will open up considerably. This is a great value at $17, and I suspect you should be able to find this wine in other wine shops and food markets in the Bay Area. Merlot drinkers will revel in this wine. Continue reading
