Gundlach Bundschu Gewürztraminer top bargain pick of the week
This one is just the opposite, very well made and a perfect example of this exceptional Alsatian grape. The Gundlach Bundschu Gewürztraminer vineyards are over 150 years old and located in the Mayacamus Mountains. Tabali wines from Chile
Last week fellow wine taster Mike and I attended the Chilean Wine Tour seminar and wine tasting event in San Francisco. We tasted several Chilean wines, most of them reasonably priced and very good wines. In particular, we were quite impressed with the wines from Vina Tabali. The Tabali winemaker, Filipe Muller, was present and we had the opportunity to chat with him and find out about the winery and how he makes his wine.

Termes Numanthia from Toro, Spain, tops our wine bargain picks of the week
The Wine Spectator, Robert Parker, Wine Enthusiast and Steven Tanzer all rated this wine 91 Points. I think that is the first time I have seen all the big boys in total agreement in scoring a wine.

Dinastia Vivanco 2008 Crianza – Tempranillo at its best for bargain wines of the week
Whenever I am in Berkeley I make sure to stop in at the Spanish Table. I like to stock up on Spanish olive oil, Paella goodies, and Spanish wines under $20.
