Syrah From Dry Creek and it is good....
Good Life Market on Cortland St. in San Francisco, has a great '06 Syrah from Dry Creek for only $7. Tried a bottle last week and it was outstanding. Tasted blind it is worth so much more. Very dark color, solid fruit and tannins in balance, no hot flavors or over ripe (prune) aromas. 14.8 % is in check with a berry pepper style of palate. They have about 50 cases and then there is no more. When was the last time you paid 7 for a real quality Syrah ???? Mike B.
