BevMo 5 cent sale - Any Bargains?

BevMo is starting their 5 cents sale. I went through all the 164 wines in the sale and I found three that might be a deal. What do you think?
1. William Hill 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon = $11.02 per bottle if you buy two, etc. The William Hill Website list this wine at $26.
2. William Hill 2006 Chardonnay $9.02 if you buy two, etc. The William Hill Website list the 2005 at $20.
3. Alderbrook 2003 Old Vine Zinfandel $8.52 a bottle if you buy two, etc. On the Alderbrook Website, the 2006 lists at $19.

The San Mateo store has only 2004 vintage. I went back to the Bevmo Website and sure enough it says 2004. I know I am right about the 2005 because I ordered some online and item list shows 2005 Cabernet. The 2004 is a very light Cabernet. It is very pleasant and smooth but not what I am looking for in a Cabernet. A better deal is the Louis Martini Cab at Costco for $10.99.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Allan Stanbridge on June 23, 2009 at 7:20pm: I went to the Colma store this morning. They had 0 cases left of the Wm. Hill Chardonay, and 0 cases of the Alderbrook Zin. The staff was very helpful in suggesting alternatives around the same price. I bought a case of the Wm. Hill Cab which they did have in stock and cases of Zynthesis Zinfadel from Lodi, Shiloh Chardonnay, and Kendwood 2007 Reserve Cauvignon Blanc. All these were originally listed at $20 or higher per bottle, so with the nickle sale, they averaged around $11. Haven't had a chance to try them yet, but was assured by several staff members that they were quite decent.
