Oceanside, Ca. Had a very nice 2006 Forest Glen Char. 7.99. Surprised me as most of their wine is mass produced and taste cheap. I guess they are making a higher end wine now. The suggested retail price was 20.00 dollars!

Found another delightful Sauvigon blanc. Just in at the Carlsbad TJ here in So. Ca. 2008 Sonoma Vineyards at 6.99. Could easily sell for twice this amount. Great purity of fruit. If you are a fan of SB, you can't go wrong.

I have always enjoyed the Republic Savy Blanc. Picked up a couple here in Carlsbad. I didn't know that they had gone out of business. That's ashame. No wonder it was such a good deal. TJs just got in the Beringer Third Century char. Super deal...3.9…

You now have to buy a case in order to get the additional 10% off. Don't know how that's going to fly. Hopefully they will go back to the six bottle discount.
