In general I would have to say that the Redwood City Grocery Outlet has the largest selection and stock of any of the No. CA stores, this includes, Berkeley, Petaluma, S.F., Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa!

I visited the Corvallis, OR G.O. last week and decided to try the Washington Hills 2006 Merlot. I was pleasantly surprised for the $2.99. Too bad all of it was sold by yesterday.

Doug - I just made a tour of the G.O. stores in the Northwest (I think I hit 30 of them) and I only saw one store with the Nelson - it was in the Seattle area, and none had the French. I suspect Oregon and Washington either never got any, or ran out…
I'm still looking for the 2006 Domaine Alfred Red Wine for $2.99 or the 2000 Nelson Estate Merlot mentioned by David. Our GO stores in the Portland Oregon area don't have any as of last week. Has anyone seen these in Oregon stores yet?
I tried some of Bob's recommended "Le Corbine" Chianti 2007. Not sure if I like it or not. Maybe it needs to be put up for a few years. I taste a distinct black olive spice in this wine. Not what I'm used to, but it definitely is different.
David - I was in G.O. in Clovis, CA yesterday and saw the Nelson Estate Merlot at 2.99. My wife and I enjoyed it last night. Today I went back and bought two cases. This is a killer wine. !
