From now through September 7, Safeway stores in the Bay Area are having big a wine sale on various wines. The standout bargain in the wines offered is the Domain Chandon sparkling wines. Depending on the Safeway, you will find Domain Chandon in three styles, Brut, Rosé, and Extra Dry Riche. If you have a Safeway club card the cost per bottle for Chandon is $12.99. If you purchase half a case you get an additional 10% off. That brings the price down to $11.70 per bottle. This is an amazing wine bargain.
The suggested retail price for any of these three very good tasting sparkling wines is $22. Just check the Domaine Chandon Website. In many stores you can find this wine priced as low as $15. So, buying a six pack of this wine with your club card is a fantastic discount. You save plenty and the sparkling wine is very good.
Of the three styles the best in our estimation is the Riche pictured on the left. It is a beautiful wine and goes well with many foods. Unfortunately, the Riche is the hardest to find at the Safeway stores. If they carry the Riche and have not stocked enough you can get a rain check. Try this wine and you will truly be amazed at its fantastic floral and soft fruit flavors.
