Our Bargain Wine Picks – June 20, 2011
I discovered this wine the day after I posted my recommendations for Rosé wines for the summer. I feel this wine is better than any of the ones I’d recommended. Carol Shelton is a small producer of Zinfandel wines and most famous for her Rockpile Zin. As far as I know, this Rosé was her first try and I sure hope she keeps making this wine. It is fantastic. I purchased one bottle and tried it on Friday. Saturday, I wiped out the last of the wine at the San Mateo BevMo store where it sold for $11.19. Continue reading →
