Mud House Pinot Noir – Bargain Wine Alert 11
Once I heard this from Bruce, I had to give the Pinot a try. I was heading down to Palo Alto so a stop at the Redwood City K&L Wines was an easy call. We tried the Pinot Noir last night, and it is as good at Bruce states. It could easily pass for a $30 Pinot. It has a little mocha character that adds a little extra to the red berry flavors of this wine. Continue reading →

I found this wine to be loaded with plum and spice characteristics, and it leaves a beautiful texture in the mouth. It has a great finish and all this for a measly $12.99. Continue reading →

Bargain Wine Hunters – New Year’s Resolutions
Improve your smeller
First get into your spice cabinet and smell every spice. When you eat a piece of fruit, smell it and keep it locked into your memory bank. When you see a flower, smell it. If you really want to get serious, buy a smelling kit. Check Amazon for these. Continue reading →
Buehler Vineyards – Two red wines top our bargain wine picks of the week.
John Buehler, Jr. and his family are committed to producing excellent wines but keeping prices affordable. Because they have been in the Napa Valley so long, the cost of their operations is not as high as most wineries. Kudos to Buehler Vineyards for keeping their wine prices in check. These two wines could easily sell for more. Continue reading →
